What we’ll explore
- Identity changes and emotional adjustment in early parenthood.
- Sharing the mental load and communicating what you need.
- Building a support network alongside other parents.
These are educational, supportive groups, not group psychotherapy or a substitute for individualized treatment. Sharing personal experiences is always optional.
What a weekly session looks like.
Each session lasts one hour, and the same rhythm every week keeps the group grounded.
- Social time to settle in and catch up.
- A short psychoeducation lesson shaped around the group’s interests and overall topic.
- Sharing time facilitated by Sabrina, with reflection, questions and conversation.
Psychoeducation topics are tailored to the cohort. They may include:
The mental load, and how to share it.
Communication techniques that hold up under stress.
Setting boundaries with family and friends.
Nurturing your other relationships.
Self-care that fits real life.
